The movie adaptation of the hit musical Wicked is entertaining audiences in movie theaters right now, and its ending makes clear that it's the first part of two movies. That second movie will be released in theaters November 21, 2025 and it now has a new name: Wicked: For Good.

That's a much better title than Wicked: Part 2, and it refers to a duet that is sung between Glinda and Elphaba, the lead characters played by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Music is the centerpiece of the production (totally appropriate, considering it's a musical), and the response to the first movie has been very good! We're looking forward to seeing how they wrap it up and to enjoy the rest of the songs made so popular by the Broadway stage musical that has been entertaining audiences for 21 years!
