The Gap Theatre in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania has closed.

The news was announced recently on the theater's Facebook page:

Hi everyone, Sorry to say that after 10 years we have decided to close the Gap Theater. We have met so many wonderful people.

We would like to thank everyone who supported the theatre through the years. Some of our finest moments where the medical funraises we held. We also had great live shows and some musicians donated their time to help. So many great memories! We did our best but in the end it just wasn't enough to continue to operate. Again, Thank you all!

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the other nearby theaters, including the Regal Northampton Cinema & RPX in Easton and the Cinemark Stroud Mall in Stroudsburg.
