Disney Announces Exclusive Theatrical Windows for Remaining 2021 Slate of Films
2021 has been a turbulent year for theatrical movie releases, and that unrest has caused its share of issues. Almost 25 years ago, an unconventional horror movie called Scream made audiences shiver at the words "Hello, Sidney" and the franchise had four installments spanning about fifteen years. Milwaukee, WI: New Plans for Garfield Theatre Include Destroying Auditorium, Keeping Lobby and Facade
The former Garfield Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the site of yet another redevelopment plan, according to recent news reports. Located on North King Drive just north of Locust Street hasn't shown movies since 1965. Originally opened in 1927, the former grand movie theater has most recently been used as a church. Scottsdale, AZ: Movie Theater Reopening Soon in Sonora Village
The Studio Movie Grill - Scottsdale in the Sonora Village shopping center in Scottsdale, Arizona closed in March 2020 as a result of the pandemic, as did most theaters around the country. However, unlike many theaters, the location never reopened. In October 2020, Studio Movie Grill filed for bankruptcy, and the company announced in January 2021 that this location would be closed permanently.
