The Star Cinema 6 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin is closed temporarily due to the flooding of the Baraboo River, according to news reports yesterday.
While the theater's message recording and the answering machine that picks up when calling the voice phone number do not mention the closure, I called the offices of Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres to find out some details. A representative there confirmed that the theater was closed temporarily due to the flooding, but they were hoping to re-open as soon as possible. She did not mention if there was any flood-related damage to the theater.
Kerasotes ShowPlaces Theatres, LLC. purchased the Star Cinema 6 and five other Star Cinemas theater locations from AGT Enterprises in January 2008.
