Disney-Pixar has announced that the Premiere of Up will be held tomorrow, May 16, 2009 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Expected to attend the premiere from the movie are Ed Asner, Jordan Nagai, John Ratzenberger, Delroy Lindo, Jerome Ranft, Danny Mann, David Kaye, Jess Harnell, and Mickie McGowan. Filmmakers Pete Docter (director/screenplay), Jonas Rivera (producer), Bob Peterson (co-director/screenplay/voice of Dug), John Lasseter (executive producer), and Michael Giacchino (composer) will be attending as well.

Special guests scheduled to appear include Gilles Marini, Justin Chambers, Michelle Monaghan, Melissa Joan Hart, Mimi Rogers, Holly Robinson Peete, Jon Voight, Patton Oswalt, and Richard Sherma.

Celebrity arrivals begin at 1:30pm and the screening begins at 3pm.

In Up, 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.

The movie opens in theaters on Friday, May 29th, and is rated PG. It will also be available in 3D at select theaters.
