After getting a suggestion from one of our readers, I just put the finishing touches on a new feature that I hope is the first of quite a few advanced search features on the site.

This new tool searches all of your Favorite Theaters and displays a list of all the movies playing.

What, you may ask, is the usefulness of that? This particular reader was interested in seeing a movie on a particular day, and hadn't decided which one to see, but wanted to see something at one of his ten Favorite Theaters.

The result was a list of about 22 movies in his case. The more theaters you have marked as favorites, the more movies you're likely to end up with as choices. After fine-tuning it a little, we came up with a useful result that allowed him to look at any day for which showtimes existed at any of his favorite theaters.

To make the new tool easy to find, I've placed a link to it on the index page as well as on the Search Page (look in the main box under the heading of "Advanced Searches").

This is just the latest example of how many of the features on this site came to be! Reader suggestions play a big part in the features we have built over the last 14 years, and we will continue to do so when we find something that we think will be useful to our readers!
