The Times Cinema in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is celebrating its Grand Opening on Friday, December 28, 2012, according to a press release issued by parent company Neighborhood Theater Group LLC. The theater closed in March 2012 due to some unrelated financial difficulties by its owner, and the theater was sold at sheriff's auction a few months later (see related Journal articles).

THE LONG AWAITED GRAND OPENING OF THE TIMES CINEMA
5906 W. Vliet St. Milwaukee
Friday December 28th! - Festivities start at 6PM
YOU are the STAR!!!!
From 6 - 7 pm as you walk the red carpet you'll be hounded by Paparazzi from Hush Hush Magazine, The New York Tattler and the Hollywood Journal-Star. Meet and greet our starlet Marylin Monrovia - snap some pics at the celebrity wall and settle in for our first run feature showing of Django Unchained at 7:30pm.
Haven't been to the Times? Look to the skies - we'll have searchlights!
(Note: Django is rated R for Violence and adult content. Under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
