An eight-week "Summer Movies in the Park" series in Bellevue, Washington will benefit local non-profit organizations, according to a press release issue recently. The series will serve as a donation drive to benefit Bellevue LifeSpring, Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue, and Kindering.

The series begins Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bellevue Downtown Park, with a showing of Hotel Transylvania on a 40-foot screen in the center of the park. Free popcorn will be available.

Moviegoers should arrive at 8pm to get their preferred patch of grass and to partipate in the pre-show activities, which may include everything from entertainment to trivia contents. If you want to bring a lawn chair, they will restrict you to an area in the back, so you're better off going chair-less and grab a picnic blanket instead!
