It is the second new Muvico location to open in five months (with another planned to debut in Chicago this fall).

"Bigger Than Life" Themed Architecture With Finest of Technologies & Amenities

Luxury Of Choice & Guest Experience Remain Paramount At Muvico

Muvico Boynton Beach 14 features Muvicos traditional signature amenities, including:

  • Valet parking for a convenient red carpet way to begin and end an entertainment experience.
  • On-line ticketing so that guests can conveniently buy movie tickets in advance at www.muvico.com for assigned seats in the Premier auditorium and general seating in other theaters.
  • Muvicos exclusive and precedent-setting on-site childrens playroom, supervised by teachers and assistants, will return spontaneity to movie-going parents who want to relax and enjoy a film hassle-free without a frantic and often unsuccessful last-minute search for an at-home babysitter. The playroom features a fun, kid friendly themed environment that includes such amenities as a computer zone, a reading corner, an arts and crafts space, a science area, a free play spot and assorted play activity areas.
  • Muvicos expanded menu offering at its 2,500-square-foot concession center that provides not just the traditional theater fare such as soda, popcorn and candy, but also freshly prepared lite meals such as crispy chicken breasts, mini-movie-burgers, fresh baked pizza, and popcorn shrimp, plus curly fries, ice cream, and specialty coffees.
  • Muvicos popular video arcade, with more than 650-square-feet of amusement options including more than 20 ever-changing popular and exciting video games for pre- and post movie/event enjoyment.

New prototype additions incorporated into the design of its newest entertainment destination include:

  • Introduction of Muvicos first dine-in Premier Café -- complete with a full service bar, casual indoor lounge and alfresco dining, and movie-themed culinary fare -- that will be used as a prototype for upcoming new locations, as well as planned to be constructed and added to several of its current non-Premier level dinner and a movie styled megaplexes such as Muvico Paradise in Davie, FL and Muvico Parisian at CityPlace in West Palm Beach, FL. The intimate venue features Old World touches, with heavily carved bar elements in dark stained oak topped by green copper-speckled granite and complimented by imported tiles on walls and floor in yellow, blue, red and green hues with a handmade stone medallion floor inset. Themed menu items include A FruitMix Named Desire, ChixRibs on a Hot Tin Roof, The Boynton Signature T-Burger with American Cheese, Totally Turtle Cheesecake, Specialty Coffees Hot or on the Rocks, including Nescafe Movie Mocha and Nescafe Leading Latte, etc.
  • A 150-seat Premier Auditorium that presents the latest blockbuster films to guests ages 21 years and older who want to enjoy a sophisticated entertainment environment that consists of reserved seating, including oversized love seats, complimentary valet parking and popcorn, and access to the full-service Premier Café restaurant and bar for the ultimate dinner and movie experience. Premier movie-goers can enjoy beer, wine or a cocktail before, during and after their screening.
  • To come: Muvicos Integrated Entertainment Experience. Muvico will soon be featuring its new integrated entertainment experience that will include digital feeds of concerts and sporting events in selected auditoriums.

Muvico Is Not Just About Coming To See A Particular Movie

We are very excited to expand the entertainment value of coming to Muvico with the prototype plans reflected in the design of Muvico Boynton Beach 14, said Muvico Entertainment, LLC President and CEO Michael Whalen, Jr. Each and every day we seek to strengthen our entertainment model of providing a premium and differentiated entertainment experience that people cannot get at home or in any other type of theater environment.

Because going to Muvico is not just solely about seeing a particular movie, but rather about a total Muvico experience, Whalen noted that Muvico guests can expect to soon see live sporting and concert events all in digital cinema at our locations. We also have plans to add IMAX auditoriums to three of our theaters, including Muvico Parisian 20 at CityPlace in West Palm Beach.

He added that: this newest venues design [Boynton Beach] demonstrates a new wave of movie entertainment that features fewer screens with larger auditoriums plus broadened on-site entertainment options. Guests familiar with the grandeur of Muvico Palace in Boca Raton, will love the intimacy of Muvico Boynton Beach 14. With our guests needs and interests always seen as a priority, our award-winning guest services crew continues to be second to none in the industry.

Pre-Opening Vip Gala Features Movie Favorites

Orchestrated in true Hollywood red (and blue) carpet-style (in honor of the release of Spider-Man 3 last evening) with large gobo lighted spider webs adorning the grand entertainment destination, an invitation-only Spider-ific themed event was held as a Spider-ific sneak peek of MUVICOs newest entertainment venue. It launched with a reel ribbon-cutting ceremony with community and industry VIPs and movie favorites including Spider-Man, Shrek, Fiona, Jack Sparrow, The Thing (from The Fantastic Four) and Lord Voldemort with a 20-foot towering Spider-Man balloon keeping a protective watch over the festivities. Guests enjoyed photo ops with these movie favorites and celebrated with their choice of red and blue Spider-tinis.
