Touchstone Pictures has announced that the world premiere for the upcoming comedy "Dan in Real Life," starring Steve Carell, will be held today, October 24, 2007 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The press will arrive at 5pm, with celebrities arriving at 6pm, and the screening begins at 7pm.

Scheduled to appear at the event are Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche, Dane Cook, Brittany Robertson, Marlene Lawston, composer and singer/songwriter Sondre Lerche, producers Brad Epstein and Jon Shestack, and director Peter Hedges.

Special guests will include Tobey Maguire, Angela Kinsey, B.J. Novak, Brian Baumgartner, Camryn Manheim, Cheryl Burke, David Denman, John Schneider, Kate Flannery, Katrina Bowden, Ken Davitian, Kerri Kenney, Kirsten Vangsness, Kirstie Alley, Leslie David Baker, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Masi Oka, Melora Hardin, Mindy Kaling, Molly Sims, Nadine Velazquez, Oscar Nunez, Paul Lieberstein, Phyllis Smith, Shalim Ortiz, Thomas Lennon, Tia Carrere, Todd Stashwick and others.

In "Dan in Real Life," Steve Carell is an advice columnist who is an expert on relationships, but somehow struggles to succeed as a brother, a son and a single parent.
