Plenty of nostalgia factor to make up for the deficiencies that make this installment pale in comparison to the first three. The biggest issue is the pacing. The running time is too long, which shows in the lack of judicious editing to keep the story moving along. It was good to see familiar faces, and to know that this is the final Indiana Jones movie. The ending saved it from getting a Wait for Rental. If you have a hankering for some swashbuckling action, the first movie or its two successors demonstrate how it’s done.
