The Beguiled is not for everybody, which is worth noting right away. While all of the performances are stellar, highlighted by Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and Kirsten Dunst, there are some moments where the pace slows down. If you're looking for a high-octane summer blockbuster, you won't find it here. But, on the other hand, if you're looking for a well-acted, well-written drama, you're at the right place.
