A terrifying shark movie in which two women (Mandy Moore and Claire Holt) get trap underwater in a cage while they're surrounded by sharks. The film is scary. It's a cross between "Jaws" and "Gravity." The girls are trap 47 meters down. If you convert into feet it would be 154 feet. Not far in distance, but between the girls and safety, it's more like a thousand miles. But calling the movie 154 feet would be be a bad title for a movie, so "47 Meters Down" is an acceptable title. It's nice to see Mandy Moore on the big screen again. I didn't see her in "This is Us," because i don;t watch the show. But Moore is such a beautiful actress, I can't help it but fall in love with her. Jul 12, 2017
Good movie could be rated see now if you like freaking out. Very scary. The ending was a little muffled for me it could of been a little clearer. Jan 23, 2018
A passable thriller that's worth watching on Netflix, which is where I found it. This isn't at the same level of better shark movies, but I did like the ending (even if it was foreshadowed rather obviously). Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for 47 Meters Down. |
