One of the best westerns that I had even saw, "The Ox-Bow Incident" is not your ordinary western. This film is based on Walter Van Tiburg Clark's novel, it's about the hanging of three innocent men who were accused of cattle rustling and the conqusences which follows. the film has a huge strong include Henry Fonda, Henry Morgan, Dana Andrews and Anthony Quinn. the film is still very powerful some 59 years later.
