Serving as a warning to all those looking for a wonder drug to combat the march of time as well as a scathing indictment to those who value people for their superficial attributes, regardless of loyalty or other virtues.

The movie grabs your attention with the special effects of creating a younger version of a character, but then keeps your attention by showing the consequences of the vanity that created the situation in the first place.

The ending is something out of a Paul Verhoeven movie and goes much further than one would think necessary, but it’s hard to argue with the movie’s overall impression when the credits roll.
