Jeff Daniels has created another classic, in the funny comedy called "Super Sucker." He wrote and directed the film which revolves around a vacum cleaning salesman, played by Daniels, who is obsessed with vacum cleaners. So much so that he wanted to be a salesman. Daniels even own a vacum cleaner which is dated back to 1923. He is part of a group of vacum salesperson who is battling another group of vacum salespersons for the same territory. Their goal, how many vacum cleaners they have to sell by the end of the month. "Super Sucker" is the vacum brand you won't be having trouble finding, because Dawn Welles of "Gilligan's Island" is on the box. Wells even had a cameo in this movie. Dignity is at stake, as the two tribes battle each other out to become top vacum cleaning store in this town, which is Jackson Michigan where the movie was filmed. "Super Sucker" was released to 122 movie screens including the one in Kalamazoo. This film deserves better than that. If Daniels (who also wrote and directed "Escanaba in Da Moonlight" two years ago, and is getting to be a midwest answer to Woody Allen) really love this movie, he should have release it to more theatres. It's very funny. The laughs are there. Believe Me! Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Super Sucker. |
