American Splendor is a campy, original film. It almost rates a "see now", with its strong characters and comic book feel.

\"American Splendor\" is a very funny comedy that pokes fun a real life as seen though the eyes of one man who made his pain it into a comic book. \"American Splendor\" is the title of the comic book Harvey Pecker (played brilliantly by Paul Giarmatti) did the comic book based on his real life experiences. American Splendor\" is very funny and is a must-see. I can\'t think of another movie that is funny and brilliant like \"American Splendor.\" Like \"Ghostworld\" the comic book that also became a film, it protray the life of an underdog.
