I didn\'t see the first one, but I enjoyed this one. I liked the characters a lot, but I felt that there were too many of them. Feb 25, 2004
The gang from the south side is back in \"Barbershop 2:Back in Business,\" andf although it wasn\'t as good as the first, I saw the film as part humor, and part African-American history. The film had help from the flashbacks as the second film recalled some of barbers in their early days. One of the best of the flashbacks featured a young Certic defending the barbershop against a intruder who wanted to burn the barbershop down on the evening of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. In the first film, the barbers battle thugs who want to take over their barbershop. In the second film, greedy politicans are the real villians. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Barbershop 2. |
