The critics say it isn't funny. Everyone in the theater was laughing including me. If you listen to the paid critics you will sit through some awful movies, and they are wrong on this one. Funny and entertaining, worth the popcorn to see. Sep 12, 2005
The best part of \"The Man\" is the unusual brilliant casting of Sammual L. Jackson and Eugene Levy. this is where the film begins and that where the film ends. After the casting the film fell apart at once. The script are recycled from the last ten different buddy-buddy movies. There are two movies in the past which had unusual pairings. the 1986 movie \"Running Scared\" has the Unusual pairing of Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal and the 1988 film \"Midnight Run\" has the unusual pairing of Charles grodin and Robert De Niro. Unlike \"The Man, those two film I mentioned has are much better in both the casting, the acting and the film overall. \"The Man\" fell apart after casting. Levy, who came off a brilliant perforamce in \"A Mighty Wind\" two years ago wasn\'t given much to do but to blow wind and getting on my nerves.
