Sanaa Lathan\'s character would rather date a whitester than a gangster in \"Something New,\" a romantic comedy with a dramatic overtones about a sucessful businesswoman (played by Lathan in her most appealing performance yet) who falls for a white gardner. This is the best interracial relationship movie in years. \"Something New\" came out just weeks after \"Brokeback Mountain,\" another movie with an unusual relationship. Since both films are released under Forcus Features, it\'ll be a great double bill at any drive-in theatre.
