Top notch film in virtually all respects. This is a stong candidate for best film of the year. My biggest complaint here was an ending what was so similar to another recent film that my initial thought was \"not again\". Jan 11, 2007
\"Children of Men\" is a powerful science fiction daram about a futuristic scoeity where you can no longer have children and choas is breaking out. This is a film that carries weight. This may be the first science fiction film that inspires the events of 9/11. Terrorism and immgration are some of the hotbutton topics in the movie. As the movie open, every country is fallen in civil disorder, except Britain, the setting of the film, but this country is going down just like the other countries. The film centers on a man who must protect a pregant woman until she gives birth. The film also protrayal England as a country in turmoil and how gouernemnt deals with terrorist and immgrates. An eye opener. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Children of Men. |
