\"Everyone\'s Hero\" is a ok movie, but could\'ve made much better. The chemistry between Yankee (the young hero in the movie) and his parents lacks emotion. Also the relationship between Yankee and the bat and ball are below the level of Abbott and Costello in the \"Who\'s on First\" skit. The talking bat and ball aren\'t as funny and the two dragged the movie down. The only postive spin on the movie, is that the film introduce the kids to the Great Depression, but that\'s about it. I wish I like the movie. The message on life is keep swinging but the filmmakers had struck out before they got to the plate.
