"mad Max: fury Road" has reminded me of the fun I had at watching all those three Mad Max movies which ran from 1979 to 1985. this movie is quite different from the other Mad Max movies in the past. Tom hardy takes the title role from Mel Gibson who did a great job. Hardy who played Max was kidnapped by a gang calling ehmselves the War Boys who ran their turf in the middle of the desert. He first became a blood doner, than later he became an car orment, then he escape and joing forces with Charlize Theron, they need to protect some women whom the leader called them property. The action scenes are still the best thing in the movie. I like the mash-up between car and truck. One tanker truck has two cars attached to it. The action scenes are so fast pace, you need to see the movie a second time. I rarely recommend seeing the movie twice, but seeing it twice is recommended and a must.

This movie was quite a production. On that level, it was a success. Director George Miller and his crew do a great job at creating the bleak, dry, and sandy world that is the setting for this movie.

The problem is, I just never connected with the movie. About 3/4 of the way through, I found myself getting impatient for it to end, which is never a good sign. The question of "where are they going with this?" never really gets answered to any kind of satisfaction. Perhaps as a setup for a franchise, this will be viewed in retrospect as a necessary foundation/origin movie, but if it stands alone, I can't see it having any long-lasting impact on movie history.

It's quite possible that this is because I haven't seen any of the original Mad Max movies, starring Mel Gibson. I've seen bits and pieces here and there, but I was never compelled to sit down and watch them. Maybe that makes me a bad candidate to enjoy this reboot, but I think that movies should be able to stand on their own, and they should be judged on their own, before considered in the context of additional movies in the franchise, whether they be prequels, sequels, or reboots.

The action scenes are pretty good, but when people start dropping like red-shirts in a Star Trek episode, it didn't really matter to me. I didn't make a connection with any character, even the primary ones, so if they lived or died, it was inconsequential. Maybe this was a case of the wrong movie at the wrong time, but Mad Max: Fury Road didn't do anything for me. I'd rather watch Waterworld again (which has quite a few similar themes) than sit through this movie a second time.

Very poor acting. Didn't care for any character in the show, they couldn't kill them off fast enough. No real story and the action actually became boring. Same chase, same explosions, same old same old, over and over.

Fury Road is an exceptional road of a roller coaster which from beginning to end is non stop action. It's almost like an art house with great cinematography, great visualization, and cg like no other. The action is superfluous, and will extract you from your seat with riveting thrills. Never mind the story and never mind the acting of which non of it sucks buts its the action that's the main star of the movie. Yes, yes I know its got Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy, buts its the action that you will love. For you guys its got some pretty women and for you ladies it's got some girl power and domination, but all in all both species will love it for the action.
