"The Spiderwick Chronicles" is a action family movie about a group of kids who stumbled upon a movie that unleased creatures who wanted the book. What I didn't expect from this movie has anger issues involving divorce and how if effect the children, especially the older child play by Freddie Highmore, who wanted to be with his dad. When that seal of that book is broken, the monster attack the house in order to get the book. Could be scary for younger children, but I like this movie enought to give it a mild recommedition.

I can't believe this film got decent reviews. The story, the characters, and the world of this film were all unappealing.
