This movie kept going and going and going; not necessarily in a bad way though. A more concise film could have hit my top ten list. Jul 19, 2007
\"Black Book\" is a movie about the Dutch Resistance movement as seen though the eyes of one woman who will do anything just to survive this Nazi madness. Carice Van Houton is appealing in her first movie role. The film is directed by Paul Verhoeven, who directed lots of English movies including \"RoboCop,\" \"Showgirls\" and \"Starship Troopers\" which pits man vs. Giant Big. But \"Black Book\" is his best film yet. It\'s also the biggest production in Dutch History. One of the best movies of 2007. May 11, 2023
