"Silence of the Lambs" is a good, but not a great movie. It's not even a Oscar winner in my book. I though it was a routine horror film that had a few moments. I was rooting for either "JFK" or "Beauty and the Beast" for best picture back in March 1992. But "Silence" won instead. Jodie Foster plays Claice Starling who is out to get a serial killer name Buffalo Bill. She neede help from a another killer name Dr. Hanibal Lecter, played by Anthony Hopkins, who deserved his Oscar as well as Foster. I'm recommeding this movie on the basis of their performances. The beauty in this movie is the fact that it is a psychological thriller first, and a slightly gory horror film second.
