"Citzen Kane" is a film made a 25 year-old genius name Olsen Welles. He made his fame in 1938 when his radio show, "Mercury Theatre on the Air" ran his version of the HG Welles classic, "War of the Worlds," which led to panic in the streets. After that he went into the movie business by producing his first feature film "Citzen Kane."

The film tells the story of Charles Foster Kane, who was pulled away from his mother to be educated back east. There he brought a small paper called the Inqurior, and change the paper's format. almong the people he hired are Bernstein, his business manger, played by Everett Sloane and Jedediah Leland(Joseph Cotton) as drama critic and close friend.

He married Emily Norton the nice of the President of the United States (played by Ruth Warrick). but he carried on a affair with an opera singer name Susan Alexander (played by Dorothy Comingore), but during a run for governor James W. Getty (Ray Collins) and when his affair hits the newspaper, not only he lost the election, but his marraige ended. He later married Susan Alexander and forced her against her will to sing opera, and she's a terrible singer at that.

There plenty that can be siad about the film, it opened with the Kane's death, the newsreels that talked about Kane, the people who are investigating about the final word he said before he died, "Rosebud." As the film progressed, witnesses to Kane's life talk about how they knew Citzed Kane. Jedediah Leland recalled Kane put out on the fron page of the Inqurior called the "Delcaration of Principles." Later after he wrote a few sentences on a bad review of Susan Alexander's Opera in Chicago, he fell asleep. When he awoke he noticed that Kane is finishing his review and then he fired him.

"Citzen Kane" can be called on of the best films ever made. I agreed. This film is the turning point of how movies are made. You can say that it's the beginning of the end of the Hollywood system. "Citzen Kane" is powerful back the and it still powerfully told 60 years later.
