Unlike the featured Critic; I thought it was gutsy of Gwyneth to sing herself; she did pretty ok. Although I do think she had an err.. in bad judgment on this one and must really love her father to have said yes to starring in his movie (Bruce Paltrow). All in all the only thing great in this movie is the music. Andre Brtaugher did a great performance of singing a couple of tunes and Mario Bello wasn't bad herself. I don't know what Scott Speedman's role had to do with anything; they should have left him on the cutting room floor, he does a better job in felicity. Heuy Lewis... as great of a singer he is; is not an actor by any standards (Believe me!).

This movie is unbelivably bad. I don't think the director knew what he wanted to say, they had a mixture of story lines that ended nowhere.

Take my word for it, if you're dying to go to this movie ... Instead of paying to see/rent the movie; pay not to see it. My opinion wait for it to show on television. And if you want to go for the music ... buy the soundtrack (which I'm sure will make more than the movie).

\"Duets\" revoles life around a karoche. so, Gwyneth Paltrow is a excellent singer, but the rest of this movie is pure amateur hour. the movie rovolrs around six and how that machine changed their life.
