While I did like the latest installment in the Major League series I'm giving it a "Wait for rental" because it's not for the average Major League fan. I found it enjoyable because I'm a baseball fan. In Major League Back to the Minors comedy takes a passenger seat while baseball realism is the films greatest aspect. Dont get me wrong, the film does have it's moments but not as nearly as funnyas the first. The behind the scenes look at baseball is somewhat vague, but accurate as well. The story has Corbin Bernsen giving Scott Bakula(a down on his luck major leaguer) a chance to manage The Buzz, a AAA team. And its back to shaping up a bad team into, you guessed it, a winning team. Formulatic yes, fun at times, truly for the baseball, film fan. May 31, 2003
\"Major League:Back to the Minors\" is a terrible waste of time for the filmmakers, the actors who had to sit though it. What\'s wrose, the fans who had to sit though this awful film. There\'s not one moment in this film. This should end the series. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Major League: Back to the Minors. |
