I wasn't excited about going to this movie but I was out voted by a group of friends. The movie was just so so to me. I think Robert DeNiro and Cuba Gooding are great actors, but this was not their best work.

While I admire the story line, based on a true story, I pretty much new what was going to happen so there was little to wonder about or expect. My husband and his friend thought it was great, so maybe that means it's more of a guy movie. But it is wworthy of a rental.

Men of Honor was a great movie. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat several times.

Great acting by all the cast especially by DeNiro. He was his great self in the picture. I'd say to really enjoy this movie, you've got to see this one at the theatre. Don't wait 'till it comes out in video. It's worth the price of as ticket and it is that good. Enjoy.

My first expectation when seeing this movie, was that it would be another poor picked on blackman experience. I am happy to say this movie was much better than that. It brought out a lot of the bias and bigotry he had to go through to achieve his goal but did not make it the primary focus of the movie. Rather the movie focused on the man, his desire and drive. It should serve as an example to EVERYONE of what can be accomplished when you have the drive and desire.

I felt Gooding and DeNiro did subperb jobs and would not be surprised to see Oscar nominations for either or both. Definitely a 4 Star movie.

Remarkable story of a truly remarkable man. The acting was terrific with excellent character developement. One cannot walk away from this movie without feeling inspired and uplifted. Loved it.

What I love about "Men of Honor" that it's based on a true story about a hero who deserved to called that because he wouldn't give up. Many young people shoud see this film because right now we got no role models and what we have here is a perfect role model that children and young adults can look upon with pride. And the acting? After doing a few comedies, Robert DeNiro sure knows how to do Drama.
