I saw "Metropolis" back in the 1970's and in film class, and Fritz Lang classic masterprice is back with restore footage and a new music score. I saw previews and I was amazed. The film is Fritz lang's vision of the future. This is his best work. "Metropolis" represent the silent era at its peak in the mid-1920's. I call it the golden age of the silent era. If you never saw a silent movie, make "Metropolis" your first. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Metropolis. |
